Online car shopping is driven by bigger and better tools to help make a better purchase. But buying a car is also a highly emotional decision (it's only the second biggest purchase in our lives). So we put the heart back into car shopping by rebranding Cars.com as the best place to match with your perfect car… even if you at a nude beach.
We partnered with Terry Timely to launch with our hero TV spot.
We also produced skippable pre-roll ads on Youtube
So we encouraged people to see what happens when you don't click the skip button.
Tinder Partnership
On launch day, we ran Tinder profiles featuring some of Cars.com's most popular selling cars. Each profile was written to reflect the personality of each major car category (e.g. luxury, family, eco-friendly.)
